Our high performance, robust air-sprung shock is best suited to bikes with more progressive linkage ratios. The TTX2Air has larger positive and negative air chamber volumes, a double-can, air spring design with additional control of the air volume spacing. This gives riders greater freedom to adjust the spring curve and easily dial-in the exact amount of progression they desire.
The TTX2Air delivers the unrivalled sensitivity, control and flawless all-conditions damping that TTX products have built their reputation on.
Initial set-up of the TTX2Air shock is really easy to do – check out the video here. We’ve made more involved tuning, such as altering volume spacers or adjusting the stroke, as straightforward as possible so it can be performed even with basic skills.
Once dialled-in, you’ll immediately appreciate the shock’s super-plush feel that increases comfort over long, demanding rides, maintains momentum over roots and rocks and also has the capacity to soak up more serious hits. The TTX2Air’s superb levels of confidence inspiring traction and control will encourage you to push your bike harder and faster than ever before.
The TTX2Air combines the superior damping function of our TTX system together with a low friction air-spring. The twin-tubed design enables two-way oil flow through the piston and the double tubes. With the ability to extensively tune the pressure when the oil passes the compression and rebound valves, we have created a well-balanced and extremely predictable damper. This results in a highly effective range of clicks enabling you to easily dial-in the shock and achieve the perfect suspension set-up.
The TTX2Air upgrades an already proven package of damping performance. The metric system design has also allowed us to increase the bushing overlap, making it more robust and improving side load protection. Our wiper seal and air sleeve lubrication technology minimizes friction and delivers outstanding performance that resists fading between service intervals.
Just like every product fitted with TTX damping technology, the TTX2Air has a race-proven settings bank giving access to a huge range of options for tuning the damper to suit any specific rider, bike or riding style.

Ever since the launch of the Öhlins TTX 22 M in 2013, the shock absorber has created a buzz within the bike industry. Riders have praised the shock from the time it was released.
Until now, the TTX 22 M has only been available for Specialized OEM/AM bikes. But now, we are re-launching the shock as TTX 22 M Universal. Available in in 7 different lengths/strokes with mounting hardware compatible with a majority of all available DH/AM/Enduro/trail bikes on the market!
The TTX 22 M Universal aftermarket shock absorber is designed to handle the most challenging World Cup Downhill tracks while still providing pedal efficiency for the flat and uphill sections. The twin tube design allows the gas pressure to always backup the low-pressure side of the piston to keep pressure at a controlled level. This ensures consistent damping performance on all types of terrain and improves damping response to give outstanding control of the bike and tire movements.
Low and high speed compression and rebound damping are externally adjustable. Spherical bearings is offered as an option on widths up to 22 mm, reducing friction on the shock during side loads to improve small bump sensitivity. Shocks with stroke of 2.5” and less feature the stability mode. 3rd position on high speed adjuster increase compression damping to reduce suspension movements during less technical climbs.
We have developed new springs for the TTX 22 M Universal and decreased the weight by 25-30%
