Another Bike Shop Mini Service Classes
We’re absolutely thrilled to kick off our third year of fantastic service classes! We are currently planning our next round of classes to start this FALL 2025. Our mini classes are thoughtfully designed just for you whether you’re a complete beginner eager to learn how to work on your own bike or someone looking to enhance and improve existing skills. Each class promises to be engaging and informative tailored to meet your individual needs. Small class size promises individual attention, We limit our classes to 5 students. This is not a sit in a chair and take notes kind of class, you will be working on your own bike and getting your hands greasy!
Rear Derailleur Adjustment
Do you ever wonder how to keep your drivetrain from prematurely wearing? Or find yourself out on the trail with bad shifting? Well, we got you! In this class we will be covering all the elements of proper shifting: derailleur limits, cable tension, hanger alignment and chain stretch. As well as focusing on drivetrain cleaning and maintenance for prolonged life. We will have a special set of tools selected for purchase at a 15% discount.
Disc Brake Adjustment
Have you ever put your bike in the car without a front wheel and accidentally pulled the brake? You'll know how much of a pain it is to try to get those pistons unstuck! Have you ever wanted to change your own pads once yours are worn through? Take this class and we'll teach you how to push those pistons back safely, as well as change the pads and adjust the caliper. This is the first class of our two part Disc Brake adjustment classes. We will have a special set of tools selected for purchase at a 15% discount.
Disc Brake Bleed (must first take Brake Adjustment class)
After taking what you learned in the Brake Adjustment class, you will have learned how to adjust your brakes, inspect your pads and then replace your pads. The next step is to learn how to bleed your brakes. This does require an investment of a brake bleeding kit and we are offering a 15% discount on kits when you signup for the class. Take your knowledge home and bleed your brakes.
Rear Suspension Set Up - Set your Sag
This is a very popular class and one that we are excited to bring back this year. Suspension set up can be very confusing. It is a variable ever changing formula that is based on your riding style and capabilities. As your riding style and ability changes you will need to adjust your suspension. We will give you the formula for you to understand how to do this on your own as well as a 15% discount on our favorite shock pump.
Everything Tubeless
Changing tubeless tires can be messy and frustrating. As the riding season changes so should your rubber. Let us teach you the easiest and least frustrating way to change your tubeless set up. We will teach you how remove your tire and inspect your tape, add sealant, set the bead and troubleshoot air leaks. We will end going over on-trail troubleshooting. What is the best way to be prepared on the trail when you encounter tubeless trouble. We will have a selection of tools for sale at a 15% discount.
