HIGHTOWER

When we introduced Bronson, it took the market by storm, redefining what people expected from a 150mm trail bike. Equally at home in the Trans-Provence as it was on The Ridge, updating and improving it was going to be no small feat.

The most visible upgrade is the completely new VPP® link arrangement.  The lower link tucks neatly above the bottom bracket, fully-recessed and protected from impacts.  Meanwhile the box-section upper link now mounts cleanly to the top tube and enhances lateral stiffness as a result. Shock rate’s been refined in the process too, delivering greater small bump sensitivity and a more progressive mid-stroke.

Geometry has also evolved subtly to meet demand from riders for a bike of this ilk.  The seat tube angle’s been steepened, placing the rider right above the cranks and perfectly in position to lay down the power. Meanwhile a one-degree slacker 66 degree head tube angle combines with a 20-25mm longer top tube and shorter chainstay length to create an evermore rally-ready geometry than its predecessor.

This alloy version of the Bronson differs just slightly from its carbon brethren: we opted against including ISCG tabs, as one-by drivetrains have rendered them mostly unnecessary, and we've made the switch to an integrated headset like you'll find on the Hightower and Tallboy. These decisions shaved a bit of weight from the frame, which otherwise includes all the features you'll find on our C and CC-level carbon frames, but in an attractive, strong, aluminum package.

5010 is built to serve the most technical backcountry missions.

130mm of VPP® (Virtual Pivot Point) travel produces a shorter chainstay length and lower BB height compared to the 5010’s bigger-travel brethren. This creates a uniquely playful character and an insatiable appetite for negotiating steep, rocky climbs.

And when it’s time to head home, playtime becomes a riot. The new 5010 has a 67-degree head tube angle, more aggressive than before, and the longer top tube welcomes the use of shorter stems for more precise handling and greater confidence on rapid descents. The 5010 also shares all the latest VPP® hardware with the new Bronson. The top-tube-mounted, box-section upper link is a leap forward in durability and stiffness, and the lower link rests cleanly out of the way, dramatically improving clearance and minimizing rock strikes.

Bike choice can be a numbers game, but if your game is conquering epic trails then 5010 is the only number you need know.

By using a slightly-less-expensive carbon fiber, we were able to put performance within reach of more riders than ever before, lifting the race pace of World Cup athletes and privateers alike. The stiffness, durability, and strength are identical between the two materials, but the C-level carbon weighs in at about 280 grams more than the top-end, CC carbon.

Hightower has the versatility to deal with whatever appears on the horizon.  Running either proven 29" wheels or the new monster-truck 27.5”+ standard, Hightower seamlessly adapts to the trails and style you ride, no matter where you are in the world.

So the big question, 27.5+ or 29?

29
If straight line speed, rallying through rock gardens and sprinting out of turns is your bag, then 29” wheels are the big ticket. Upgrade to carbon rims and you have a precision instrument on your hands.

27.5+
When conditions get loose and the traction just ain’t there, you’ll want to reach for bigger tires. 27.5+ elevates Hightower to a whole different level, enabling you to rise above the pow, rail the soft spots and carry momentum where standard tires bog down.

No matter what size you run, geometry remains optimized thanks to a neat little “High/Low” setting on the upper link that flips to adjust bottom bracket height*.  Hightower’s 67° head angle, longer reach and trim chain stays combine to create an altogether different class of dreadnought in any configuration.  Meanwhile, 150mm of seat dropper, a water bottle mount, and internal routing reflect an armada of killer details.

135mm of VPP® travel is reinforced by a 148 rear axle spacing and the kind of Nomad-style linkage arrangement and swingarm design we reserve for the heaviest hitters in our model line up.  The resulting package leaves Hightower standing head and shoulders above anything else out there.

By using a slightly-less-expensive carbon fiber, we were able to put performance within reach of more riders than ever before, lifting the race pace of World Cup athletes and privateers alike. The stiffness, durability, and strength are identical between the two materials, but the C-level carbon weighs in at about 230 grams more than the top-end, CC carbon

*Please note: 140mm fork comes standard on the 29” kits, and is exchanged for a 150mm version on the 27+ builds to keep the 67° head angle consistent.

Riding trail requires a bike that can do it all with ease, take some hits, and be ready to come back for more. And when it comes to this, nothing outperforms our new Stumpjumper FSR Comp Carbon 29. It features a durable set of SRAM components, hand-selected to ensure that you get the most performance over rugged terrain possible. At the frame, you'll find our FACT 9m carbon fiber Trail chassis with an M5 alloy rear end that creates a lightweight, strong, and stiff construction. The carbon molding process also allowed us to revolutionize how you carry your trail essentials with the all-new SWAT™ Door found at the down tube. This compartment will fit a tube, a tool, and pump without rattling or compromising the structural integrity of the frame. And when you factor in our proprietary Rx Trail Tune at the shock, plus an aggressive, trail-eating geometry that features ridiculously short chainstays, a roomy top tube, a low bottom bracket, and a slacked out front end, you have a bike that's going to eat up the trail and ask for seconds.

  • FACT 9m carbon fiber Trail Chassis with Stumpjumper FSR M5 alloy rear end blends stiffness with light weight to form the pinnacle of efficiency, while 135mm of travel, fully enclosed cable routing, and integrated SWAT™ Door create exceptional handling and zero-hassle storage.
  • RockShox Yari fork features a 15x110mm Maxle Ultimate thru-axle, a Solo Air™ spring, and 150mm of plush travel to take on big hits and bumpy terrain with supreme speed and efficiency.
  • Roval Traverse 2Bliss Ready wheels provide a strong, stable platform that's built to deliver heaps of responsiveness, speed, and supreme handling.

With the all-new Enduro Elite Carbon, we're still scratching our heads—is faster on the way up or the way down? But at this point, we're kind of like, "Who cares? This thing is fun as hell." We gave it a whole new geometry, with a slacker front end, a longer top tube, short chainstays, and a lower bottom bracket. All of this together makes the bike truly feel glued to the ground, and the platform is more responsive and capable then ever. We even added some brand new bits, like integrated storage with a SWAT™ Door at the down tube, and made "old" new again by making a triumphant return to a threaded bottom bracket. To keep the weight down, the frame is constructed with our legendary X-Wing layout with a FACT 9m carbon fiber chassis and M5 alloy rear end. And to ensure top-level performance on the descents, this material choice is greeted by 160mm of plush travel at both the front and rear. And handling suspension duties out back is the talk of the town rear shock, the RockShox Monarch Plus with our Rx Trail Tune. We even made it to be compatible with our 6Fattie wheel system, so you'll always be ready for the trail ahead. For the build, this Enduro is packed with drool-worthy gear, like SRAM one-by 11-speed shifting, powerful Guide R brakes w/ S4 calipers, hand-built Roval wheels, and a RockShox Lyrik RC fork up front.

  • The frame has an X-Wing layout with a FACT 9m carbon chassis and an M5 alloy rear end. Together, these elements combine to form the perfect balance of low weight, responsive handling, and unparalleled strength. It's also been built off our 29 Geometry, which lends itself to running 6Fattie wheels and tires (only a 7mm BB drop), in order to provide an aggressive, well-rounded ride. And with internal Command Post IR routing, a return to a threaded bottom bracket, and an integrated SWAT™ Door at the down tube, you get a bike that's clean, dependable, and ready for anything that the trail has to offer.
  • A RockShox Lyrik RC fork puts out a 160mm of plush travel. It has all of the features the trail demands, like a 15mm Maxle Ultimate thru-axle, 110mm spacing, and stiff 35mm Fast Black upper tubes. It's also compatible with 6Fattie wheels & tires for the occassions where traction reigns supreme.
  • SRAM's 11-speed GX serves up powerful and precise one-by shifting, so you can say goodbye to dropped chains and unecessary grams.

Too much travel or too little—choosing the right trail bike is tough, but our Women's Camber Comp Carbon 650b makes it easy. It's designed to give women a trail bike that's built for speed, efficiency, and confident handling, both on the way up the trail and down. This bike blends all of the trail bike characteristics that you want with the XC climbing prowess that you need. This is achieved by thoughtfully combining our lightweight FACT 9m carbon Trail Chassis with an M5 alloy Camber FSR rear end. The combination results in blending lightweight, rigidity, and durability in one package. At both ends of the bike, you'll find sufficient travel lengths that deliver 130mm plenty of plush suspension—all without going overboard on big hit capability. This means that you don't have to sacrifice efficiency, weight, or sheer speed to ride how you want. And with our Trail 650b Geometry and lightweight, stiff, and smooth Concentric Pivot at the rear, we can guarantee it. For the build, you get a custom-tuned RockShox Revelation RL fork and an awesome SRAM one-by drivetrain. Even better, every component of the bike, from the handlebars to the crankarm length, is tailored for both women and rider size, while every aspect of the suspension has been scrutinized and custom-tuned for women.

  • FACT 9m carbon Trail Chassis w/ Camber FSR M5 Alloy rear end is mated with our Trail 650b Geometry to form a bike that's just as at home on the climbs as it is mowing over rough trail sections. You'll also find internal cable routing for clean lines and minimal maintenance and an integrated SWAT™ Door for zero-hassle storage of your trail essentials.
  • A custom RockShox Revelation RL 650b fork was developed to deliver 130mm of plush, trail taming travel, while accommodating a 15x110mm thru-axle for reliable handling and durability over rough, bumpy, or loose terrain. It also features our Women's Rx Trail Tune that specifically tailors the suspension to lighter riders.
  • SRAM GX 11-speed rear derailleur grants you access to a wide range of gears, while providing crisp, reliable shifting.
